Providing chauffeur car services to residents & visitors to the Tewkesbury area of Gloucestershire.  Tewkesbury is a small market town located to the north of Gloucestershire county, near to the southern border of Worcestershire.  It sit along the river Severn and was a thriving hub for transport of goods through its Marina.  Originally known as Theocsbury after the arrival of a Saxon Hermit known by the name of Theoc during the 7th century.  The town is a mixture of Tudor townhouses and Georgian architecture and is known for its network of alleys, (around 30 of the original 90 alleys still exist today).  Tewkesbury's almost 900-year-old Abbey sits proudly in the heart of the town and to the north is the Mythe Bridge designed by Thomas Telford which sits proudly over the River Severn.  Tewkesbury is perhaps known most for the Battle of the Roses, in 1471 the House of York secured their victory over the Lancastrians.  For those history buffs, Tewkesbury holds a re-enactment of the battle during July's Medival festival.  There is even a set of large wooden horses that greet you as you enter Tewkesbury in remembrance of the battle. Steeped in history Tewkesbury is a worthy stop for those visiting the northern Cotswold's.
