FREQUENT QUESTIONS
FAQ's about our chauffeuring services
Below you will find some of the most frequently asked questions from our customers. If you have a question that is not covered below, please don't hesitate to contact us by clicking here.
If I cancel my booking, will I still be charged?
If you cancel within 48 hours from the start your booking, 50% of your booking will be non-refundable. if you cancel within 24 hours from the start of you booking then 100% of your booking will be non-refundable. However, if you cancel before this time i.e. more than 48hrs notice of travel date and time then 100% of your booking will be refunded. Refunds can be made as a cash refund to the account or card used for payment or held as a credit note to be deducted off a future booking.
What if I make a booking and I forget to meet the driver?
If you don't arrive at the location at the agreed time, then you will be responsible for 100% of the booking. It is important that you stay in contact and update us with any changes. The driver will try to contact you before leaving. Please be aware that additional waiting time may be added to your booking.
What if my flight is early, delayed or cancelled?
We will monitor your flight to ensure the car arrives at the airport at the correct time. A one hour wait time is included with your booking. You may incur an additional waiting charge if there are any extensive delays after your plane has landed. If your flight is cancelled by the airline within 48hrs of your travel date and moved to an alternate date then this would not be a cancellation. We would amend the booking to your new date & travel times. If your flight is cancelled or severely delayed, your new arrival time may clash with another booking. In the event this happens, we will work closely with you to make other arrangements to source vehicles through our trusted network, but additional charges may apply.
What time do I need to arrive at the airport?
The destination and airline you are using will determine this. It is recommended that you arrive in plenty of time. As a rule, arrive 3 hours before departure and add an hour to the journey time to allow for potential traffic delays. This is only the opinion of Valkyrie Chauffeurs and we cannot be held accountable for missed flights.
How can I pay?
Payment is due at time of booking in order to secure the service. Payments can be made using a credit/debit card over the phone or by (BACS) bank transfer. Please note there is a 2% surcharge for debit/credit cards or 3% surcharge for international debit/credit cards.
If you are booking last minute, arrangements can be made to pay in-car at the beginning of the journey. Arrangements can also be made to pay by the means of a monthly invoice for corporate clients. In both these instances prior approval is required. Please contact us for further information.
