Valkyrie Chauffeurs Ltd offers a wide range of services, including; seaport /airport transfers, weddings and other customised travel for business or pleasure. We are fully licensed by our licencing local authority.  We currently own two Mercedes S-Classes and a Mercedes V-Class Executive MPV for bookings.  Our vehicles are always kept in pristine condition.  For absolute discretion, all our cars are private hire plate exemption approved. This means the vehicles are unmarked and have no requirement to display the council issued private hire licence plate.

 

Valkyrie Chauffeurs Ltd was first started by Nathan Bickerdyke after he was made redundant from his role as a production planner. The idea of being a chauffeur first came to mind a few years prior when he saw a wedding car driver waiting for the Bride & Groom to come out of the Church in Cheltenham. Nathan remembered thinking to himself at the time "What a rewarding job". He didn't act on it straight away because he felt he didn't have sufficient financial backing at the time to give it the start it needed. When Nathan was made redundant he had the opportunity to realise his dream and used the redundancy package to set up Valkyrie Chauffeurs. Some could say it was a blessing in disguise. Whilst he did not have any private hire background he felt that that was not a negative as he wanted to concentrate on the qualities of being a chauffeur and offering the quality of service rather than just going from A to B. A concept he embraces to this day.

 

Since then the business has gone from strength to strength seeing the expansion of vehicles & services as well as valuable networking with local hotels, businesses and other chauffeurs who have access to additional vehicles whom we can trust to offer a good service worthy of his high standards.  In October 2018 his wife Leigh made the decision to leave her role as a Detective Constable in the South West Regional Crime Unit to support the growth of Valkyrie Chauffeurs full time.  Having a female driver is welcomed and provides diversity within the brand.  As an ex-police officer, Leigh-Ann brings valuable driving skills as well as First Aid training and experiencing in safeguarding. Our growth has been at a natural pace and has been with our customer's needs at the forefront.  After all, it is our customers who make it all possible. 

 

Nathan too has expanded his knowledge base and experience following the impact of Covid19 Nathan took his Close Protection course and is now authorised in level 3 first aid and licensed for Close Protection Services by the UK's authorising body SIA.
